Stockholm for children

Stockholm is a city with a large number of family activities appealing to all ages. One major children’s attraction is the archipelago’s countless islets, for boating, swimming and fishing. However, there are many other highlights to occupy children.

Aquaria Vattenmuseum: At this water museum in Djurgården, children can follow the course of a rainforest river from the mountains to the open sea, among other attractions (for more information, click here).

Junibacken: Home to Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi Longstocking and other storybook characters. Worth the steep entrance fee (Galärparken, Djurgården; daily 10am–5pm, until 6pm in summer, with exceptions; www.junibacken.se).
